Change is something that we all experience. My life has had many eras, each one different than the others.

This week, Apple announced an upcoming change in leadership. On September 1, John Ternus will assume the CEO position as Tim Cook moves on to a new role within Apple. He will be just the 8th CEO for Apple and the 3rd of the “modern” Apple.

I think this has the opportunity to be an exciting time where Apple regains some of the Steve Jobs magic, while having the scale and significance that developed during the 15 years of Tim Cook’s leadership.

I am hopeful. Time will show us what happens.
